Lapsi is a sweet dish made with broken wheat, dry fruits and ghee. It is rich in flavor and has good nutritional value as well. So do give it a try and share your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br /><br />Ingredients:<br />1 cup Broken Wheat<br />1 ½ tbsp Ghee<br />1 Cinnamon stick<br />2 Cloves<br />2 tbsp Cashew Nut<br />2 tbsp Almond Flakes<br />2 tbsp Raisins<br />2 ½ cups Water<br />2 tbsp Milk<br />1 ¼ cup Sugar<br /> ½ tsp Cardamom powder<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />In a pressure cooker, dry roast broken wheat for 2 minutes then remove it in a plate.<br />Heat ghee in the same cooker, add cinnamon stick, cloves, roasted broken wheat, give it a stir.<br />Add cashew nut, almond flakes, raisins, roast them for 30 secs and add water and milk.<br />Once the water starts to boil add sugar, mix well and let it dissolve.<br />Once the sugar dissolves, cover the lid and let it pressure cook on low flames.<br />Turn off the flame and let it cool down for 10 minutes before you open it.<br />Add cardamom powder, give it a mix and our Lapsi is ready.<br />
